Alan Hall
Alan Hall is a former percussion faculty member at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, where he taught for seven years. He is currently head of the drum department at the JazzSchool in Berkley, California where he teaches drum classes, private lessons, workshops, and ensembles.
He's performed and/or recorded with: Art Lande, Paul McCandeless, Kai Eckhardt, John Handy, Ernie Watts, Larry Schneider, Joyce Cooling, John Harrison, Rebbecca Parris, Stuart Hamm, Brian Torff, Kenny Werner, Kit Walker, Tom Coster, Andre Bush, and many others.
He's active as a drum clinician, adjudicator, author, studio drummer, and sideman; he has performed throughout North America in styles ranging form Jazz and Latin to Klezmer to Instrumental Rock and Big Band.
Alan is an endorser of Zildjian Cymbals, Vic Firth Sticks, and Aquarian Accessories.
